Vendor Agreement

10.1 Vendor Role and Independence
A vendor is an independent business or individual listing rental items, fashion rentals, equipment, event services, service packages, or quote-based services on RentHaus. Vendors are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of RentHaus unless expressly agreed in writing.
10.2 Vendor Eligibility and Verification
Vendors may be required to provide full name, business name, phone, email, address, city of operation, government ID, CAC registration where available, bank account details, portfolio, item photos, service history, ownership/control evidence, replacement values, and delivery/service areas. RentHaus may approve, reject, suspend, or remove vendors.
10.3 Listing Accuracy
Vendors must keep photos, prices, availability, rental duration, package scope, quote terms, delivery terms, deposit requirements, replacement value, size charts, item condition, and cancellation terms accurate. Vendors must not list items they do not own, control, or have lawful authority to rent.
10.4 Quote and Booking Conduct
• Vendors must respond to quote requests honestly and include scope, price, validity period, deposit, exclusions, and payment terms.
• Vendors must not change material terms after quote acceptance except through an approved RentHaus change flow accepted by the customer.
• Vendors must not treat an accepted quote as confirmed until RentHaus verifies payment or deposit.
• Vendors must not pressure customers to pay outside RentHaus.
10.5 Payments and Payouts
RentHaus may collect payments on behalf of vendors. Vendor payouts may be released after booking completion, delivery confirmation, return confirmation, deposit resolution, dispute window expiry, and admin review where required. RentHaus may deduct platform commission, payment processing fees, refunds, penalties, chargebacks, approved compensation, and other agreed fees.
10.6 Deposits and Claims
Vendors may request deposits through RentHaus only. Deposit claims must be honest, timely, and evidence-based. False, exaggerated, late, or unsupported claims may be rejected and may result in warning, listing demotion, payout hold, suspension, or removal.
10.7 Off-Platform Bypass
Vendors must not place phone numbers, WhatsApp numbers, bank details, QR codes, or off-platform payment instructions in listings, images, quote replies, or messages where the purpose is to bypass RentHaus. Repeated or serious bypass attempts may result in suspension, forfeiture of rewards, listing removal, or account termination.
10.8 Customer Data
Vendors may only use customer data for the specific RentHaus transaction. Vendors must not spam customers, sell data, add customers to marketing lists without consent, or contact customers for unrelated deals.
10.9 Suspension and Removal
RentHaus may suspend or remove vendors for fraud, repeated cancellation, unsafe items, poor service, false claims, off-platform transactions, customer complaints, policy violations, misuse of customer data, failure to complete verification, or non-compliance with RentHaus quality standards.
